Dr. Snodgrass Gainesville Optician

Gregory D. Snodgrass, M.D.

Dr. Gregory Snodgrass received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the West Virginia Institute of Technology. He then obtained his medical degree from the West Virginia University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and Ophthalmology Residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital and The Ohio State University, serving as Chief Resident. Dr. Snodgrass moved to Gainesville in 1987, becoming a partner in Gainesville Eye Physicians. Over the years, he has expanded his practice to include offices in Tioga Town Center, Live Oak, and Lake City, and updated the practice name to North Florida Cataract Specialists and Vision Care to better reflect the areas we serve and services we provide. He is known as one of the area's premier ophthalmologists, combining advanced skills, state-of-the-art technology, and over twenty-five years of experience to provide his patients with superior eye care.


Dr. Gerald Hazouri Optician

Gerald G. Hazouri, M.D.

Dr. Gerald Hazouri received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida. He went on to obtain his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine. After an internship at Baylor University Hospital in Houston, he served as a General Medical Officer with the United States Navy in Vietnam. He then returned to the University of Florida to complete his Ophthalmology Residency. He began practicing near Alachua General Hospital in downtown Gainesville in 1971. In 1998, Dr. Hazouri joined the practice, but continued to provide services from his office on 4th Avenue next to AGH. In 2008 Dr. Hazouri moved to the East University Avenue office, where he continues to offer exceptional eye care to the community.


Dr. Patricia Bailey

Patricia L. Bailey, O.D.

Dr. Patricia Bailey graduated from Wartburg College in Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. She then attended the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, where she received her Doctor of Optometry Degree. Dr. Bailey went on to complete her Primary Care Residency in Optometry at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. She became a practicing optometrist in 1998, and joined the practice in 2010. She formerly served as the President of the North Florida Optometric Society.  


Dr. Broome

Kimberly Marie Broome, O.D.

Dr. Broome studied psychology at the University of Missouri before joining the optometry program at Southern College. As a second generation Southern College optometry alumnus, she excelled, graduating summa cum laude in 1991. Upon moving to Florida, Dr. Broome performed her externship at Lake City VA Medical Center and then practiced in the community before joining the practice. In her spare time, Dr. Broome enjoys living in the country, spending time with her horses, playing tennis and reading.


Dr. Christa Morris

Christa Morris, O.D.

Dr. Christa Morris earned her undergraduate degree from Mercer University in 2009 and graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in 2014. In addition to her work at the practice, Dr. Morris completed her residency training in primary eye care with an emphasis in ocular disease at the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center. As the daughter of our own Dr. Gregory Snodgrass, compassionate eye care runs in the family for Dr. Morris.
