As part of cataract surgery, the cataract-damaged natural eye lens must be replaced with an artificial intraocular lens implant (IOL). North Florida Cataract Specialists and Vision Care offers a variety of lens implants depending on the individual patient’s vision challenges.

For patients who traditionally wear multifocal eyeglasses, we now offer two exciting multifocal lens implants from Clareon® – PanOptix®Trifocal Intraocular Lens and Vivity™ Intraocular Lens.

The Clareon IOL platform upon which these two lenses are built have been implanted more than 120 million times around the globe.

With PanOptix®Trifocal Intraocular Lens implants, a return to 20/20 vision is possible for patients with near, intermediate and distance vision challenges. It’s the first and only trifocal lens implant approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and available in the U.S.

In U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) testing, PanOptix patients demonstrated exceptional, uninterrupted vision and high patient satisfaction, with more than ninety-nine percent saying they would choose PanOptix again.

Vivity™ Lens Implants

Vivity™ Intraocular Lens implants are designed for patients who want to improve their intermediate and near vision. In clinic trials, ninety-four percent of Vivity patients reported very good or good vision at distance, while ninety-two percent reported very good or good vision at arm’s length. These patients’ vision measured 20/20 at distance and greater than 20/25 at intermediate distances.

North Florida Cataract Specialists and Vision Care was hand-picked to be among the first practices in the U.S. to offer these lenses due in large part to our track record for delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
